Built-in Browser
JEditor includes an embedded web browser, allowing you to browse documentation, search the web, and view web content — all without leaving the editor.
Search
In-page search:
Press
Ctrl+Fto open the in-page text searchFind text within the current web page
Web search:
Type a search query (not a URL) in the address bar
JEditor will search using the configured search engine (Google by default)
Browser Tabs
You can open multiple browser instances:
Tab menu — Add a new browser tab (WEB Tab)
Dock menu — Open a browser as a dockable panel
Stack Overflow tab — Dedicated tab that opens Stack Overflow directly
Download Tracking
The browser includes a download tracking window that shows the progress of file downloads.
